Kieri is a junior double majoring in CALS who grew up in northern NJ. She played volleyball and threw javelin for all four years of high school before joining the rugby team in the fall of her freshmen year at Cornell. After her first season starting as a wing she’s slowly transitioned to play as a center. Kieri currently serves the team as club president.

Before rugby, I played four years of varsity softball and three years of varsity volleyball in high school. I joined the team in my freshman fall and am excited to see where rugby takes me! I’m still learning the ropes and don’t have a set position yet, but I’m looking forward to getting on the field, learning new skills, and playing alongside the team.

I played a variety of sports before rugby, but was set on joining the team once I got to college. There are 3 generations of rugby players in my family, and I was ecstatic to continue the legacy. I joined as quickly as possible my freshman fall, having never played before. Now I play prop and love to tackle. The community is so enjoyable that I have become social chair to ensure players have fun off the pitch as well (keeping songs alive and well!).
