Cornell racked up a decisive win on Saturday, defeating Brown 53-17 in the first round of the Ivy 15s playoff in Canton, Mass. Up 34-3 at the half, Cornell brought it to 53-3 before Brown's first try of the game made it 53-10. Brown found their groove and would score again but it was too little too late to defeat Big Red.
With the win, Cornell earned the right to face Harvard in the Ivy 15s Final on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. The Cornell-Brown match on Saturday was followed at 2:30 p.m. by a men's D1 match between Boston Irish Wolfhounds and Mystic River.
